What are your renter requirements for renting a vehicle?
The requirements are as follow:
● Valid Drivers License
● Over the age of 21
● Two proofs of residency with any official mail such as check stubs or billing
● Full Coverage Car Insurance
● Major credit/debit linked to checking account ( no pre-paid cards)
Is a deposit required when renting a vehicle?
The deposit for a 2-3 day rental is $300
The deposit for a 1-week rental is $100 + weekly rate ( $100 returned when you return the car)
Will A Priority One pick me up?
Yes, our free pick-up service is available during normal business hours within a 25-mile radius of our location. To schedule your pick up time or make additional arrangements, please call our office directly at (504) 827-2900.
What forms of payment are accepted for renting a car?
Major credit or debit linked to a checking account.
Can I add an additional driver to my rental?
Yes, additional drivers are allowed, if the following criteria are met:
All additional drivers must:
meet all age requirements
appear at the rental counter with the primary renter
present a valid driver's license
An additional daily fee may apply for additional drivers.
How do I change or cancel my reservation?
To change or cancel a reservation please call our office directly, (504) 827-2900.
I would like to keep my rental vehicle for a few days longer; is that possible?
Absolutely! Call our office directly to extend your rental reservation, (504) 827-2900. Rental periods are not to exceed ninety (90) consecutive days.
Do you accept Cash or Money Orders?
Yes! We accept cash deposits. However, we do require a major debit or credit card to make payment on the reservation.
I want to return my car early, is there a penalty to do so?
We do not charge customers for returning a car early, and you will only be charged for the days you had the vehicle.
Will there be an additional charge if I am late returning the rental vehicle?
Yes, additional charges may apply for returning the vehicle late.
Do I need to refuel the vehicle before returning?
Yes. Customers must refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level upon picking up the vehicle. Additional charges may apply for vehicles returned without being refueled.
Can I smoke in my rental vehicle?
Smoking is prohibited in all A Priority One rental vehicles. A $100 fee will be applied to renters who violate this policy.
Can I return my rental vehicle on a Sunday?
